A large recall has been issued for certain ready-to-eat frozen breakfast burritos and wraps made by M.C.I. Foods, Inc.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced the recall after testing found possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination in a product ingredient.
In total, about 91,585 pounds of frozen breakfast products are affected.

The recall was issued after the company discovered a positive Listeria monocytogenes test result in the scrambled egg component supplied by an external ingredient supplier.
Listeria contamination can lead to listeriosis, a serious infection that can affect:
Older adults
Pregnant individuals
People with weakened immune systems

No confirmed illnesses have been reported.
