Frozen Breakfast Burritos and Wraps Recalled for Possible Listeria Contamination

The recall was issued after the company discovered a positive Listeria monocytogenes test result in the scrambled egg component supplied by an external ingredient supplier.

Listeria contamination can lead to listeriosis, a serious infection that can affect:

  • Older adults
  • Pregnant individuals
  • People with weakened immune systems

According to the recall notice:

  • No confirmed illnesses have been reported.
  • Anyone concerned about symptoms should contact a healthcare provider.

  • Products were shipped to foodservice institutions nationwide
  • Some products may have been distributed to schools through commercial sales
  • The products were NOT part of the USDA National School Lunch Program

Do not serve or consume them.

Food safety officials recommend:

  • Check freezers or inventory for the affected products
  • Do not prepare or serve the burritos or wraps
  • Throw the products away

Institutions that may have received these items are urged to remove them from use immediately.
