No Proof Required – Team Group $1.1M DRAM Memory Speed Class Action Settlement

If you bought certain Team Group DDR-3, DDR-4, or DDR-5 DRAM computer memory products in the U.S., you may be able to claim a cash payment from a $1.1 million class action settlement. And for many people, no proof of purchase is required

The lawsuit claims Team Group advertised some DRAM products as reaching certain speeds “out of the box,” when users allegedly needed to make additional PC adjustments to achieve those speeds. Team Group denies wrongdoing but agreed to settle the case.

What happened?

According to the lawsuit, Team Group’s packaging and marketing allegedly led consumers to believe certain DDR-3, DDR-4, and DDR-5 DRAM products would operate at their advertised speeds without additional configuration changes.

The company denies violating any laws or misleading consumers. The settlement resolves the claims without further litigation or a trial.
