If you recently bought a children’s sport tumbler or clicked here from a recall alert, take a moment to check your product. Certain tumblers are being recalled due to a potential choking risk. Here’s a clear breakdown of what’s affected and how to get a replacement.

What’s Being Recalled and Why?

HydroJug 14-ounce Children’s Sport Tumblers are being recalled because the rivets on the handle can come loose, causing the handle to detach.

This creates a choking hazard for children.

According to the recall notice:

  • The company has received 656 reports of rivets coming loose
  • No injuries have been reported

The recall applies to the following product:

  • Product Name: 14-ounce Children’s Sport Tumbler
  • Brand: HydroJug
  • Size: 14 ounces
  • Serial Number:
    • 235010, or
    • No serial number (check the bottom of the tumbler under the rubber boot)
  • Handle: Attached to the lid with rivets

Patterns included:

  • Cowgirl
  • Daisy Checkers
  • Dinosaur
  • Sport
  • Bows

Units recalled: About 17,000

What You Should Do?

If you have one of these tumblers:

  • Stop using it immediately
  • Contact HydroJug to request a free replacement lid
  • You will be asked to:
    • Email photos of the bottom of the tumbler showing the serial number (or that there is no serial number)
    • Permanently mark the recalled tumbler lid with the word “Recalled”
    • Dispose of the recalled lid

HydroJug will confirm eligibility and send a replacement lid at no cost.
