International Motors, LLC is recalling certain 2026–2027 MV vehicles due to a braking issue tied to the vehicle’s software.
When using adaptive cruise control (ACC) or hill hold assist, the system may fail to activate the brakes as expected.
That matters because:
The vehicle may not slow down or stop automatically when it should
This can increase stopping distance without warning
And ultimately, it raises the risk of a crash
According to the recall notice, there is no warning indicator to alert the driver if this issue occurs.
No crashes, injuries, or fatalities were reported in the recall documentation, but the risk is considered serious because it affects braking performance.
