Frozen Mixed Vegetables Recalled Over Listeria — Check Your State

Endico Potatoes Inc. has recalled certain frozen peas and carrots and mixed vegetables because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. While no illnesses have been reported so far, Listeria can cause serious and sometimes life-threatening infections, especially in pregnant people, young children, older adults, and anyone with weakened immune systems.

The recall affects Endico brand frozen peas and carrots and mixed vegetables.

Routine testing in Pennsylvania found the presence of Listeria monocytogenes in finished products. This bacteria can cause:

 

  • High fever

  • Severe headache

  • Stiffness

  • Nausea

  • Abdominal pain

  • Diarrhea

 

In pregnant people, Listeria infection may cause miscarriage or stillbirth.

 

No illnesses have been linked to this recall to date.

The recalled vegetables were sold in 2.5 lb clear plastic bags under the Endico label. Look for these details printed on the side of the bag:

    • Production Date: 6/11/25

    • Use By Date: 6/10/27

 

  • Mixed Vegetables

    • Lot: 170625

    • Production Date: 6/17/25

    • Use By Date: 6/16/27

 

Where sold: NY, NJ, PA, CT, MD, DC, FL through local distributors (between July 18, 2025 – August 4, 2025).

  • Do not eat the recalled vegetables.

  • Check your freezer for the lot codes listed above.

  • Return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
