Automatic Payments – McDonald’s Franchisee $681,600 Washington Jobs Settlement

If you applied for a job with a McDonald’s franchisee in Washington state, you could be eligible for an estimated $1,093 payment from a class action settlement.

The settlement involves KTC LLC, a McDonald’s franchise operator, and claims that certain Washington job postings failed to include wage scales or salary ranges as required by state law.

What happened?

The lawsuit alleged that KTC LLC violated the Washington Equal Pay and Opportunities Act (RCW 49.58.110) by posting job openings without including required pay range information.

According to the lawsuit, applicants who applied for jobs in Washington between Jan. 1, 2023, and March 13, 2025 may have seen postings that did not disclose salary or wage details.

  • The job posting did not include a wage scale or salary range

Eligible class members were identified using KTC LLC’s records.

Eligible class members may receive an estimated payment of $1,093.40.

The final amount may vary depending on:

  • Court-approved fees and costs
  • Settlement administration expenses
  • The total number of participating class members

Payments will be issued as nonwage damages and interest (1099).
