Shyft Group Recall: Steering Gearbox May Bind and Cause Loss of Control

Shyft Group is recalling certain 2024-2025 Blue Arc BA4L-800 electric delivery vehicles because the steering gearbox mounting fasteners may loosen or detach, which can cause the steering to bind or fail. If this happens while driving, it increases the risk of a crash.

So far, Shyft has not reported any crashes, injuries, or fatalities, but the issue is serious enough that all affected vehicles need a checkup.
