Why is there a lawsuit?
The lawsuit claimed Road Runner Sports illegally auto-renewed VIP memberships without clearly explaining the renewal terms or getting proper consent. Road Runner Sports denies wrongdoing but they agreed to a $6 million+ settlement to resolve the claims.
Who qualifies?
You may be included if all of these apply:
You were a Road Runner Sports VIP Rewards member (Family, Plus, or Platinum).
You lived in California.
You were a member between July 1, 2013 and May 1, 2025.
You were charged a renewal fee.

Free 1-year VIP Family Membership (non-renewing, automatic)
Rewards Cash:
$25 if membership ended after May 25, 2017
$15 if membership ended before May 26, 2017

Deadline: December 14, 2025 (only if you’re a current member seeking the extra $10 Rewards Cash)
File online: Log in with the Unique ID + PIN from your postcard or email notice. Can’t find them? Click “Need help” on the claim website.
File by mail: Download, complete, and mail the Claim Form
Former members: you don’t need to do anything. Your benefits will be automatic. If you’re a current VIP Rewards member, don’t miss out on the extra $10.
