100% Reimbursement for Repair Costs – BMW Shark Fin Antenna Settlement

If you owned or leased certain 2019–2020 BMW X3, X4, X5, X6, or X7 vehicles, you may be eligible for reimbursement of qualifying repair expenses and an extended warranty under a class action settlement.

The settlement resolves claims involving an alleged sealing defect in the vehicles’ shark fin antenna that may have allowed water to enter and damage components beneath the antenna. Claims must be submitted by August 27, 2026.

Why Did This Lawsuit Happen?

The lawsuit alleged that certain BMW vehicles were equipped with a shark fin antenna sealing defect that could allow water to enter the vehicle and damage components such as the telematics unit and its battery.
