Ritz Peanut Butter Cracker Sandwiches Recalled Over Life-Threatening Label Mix-Up

Mondelēz Global LLC is voluntarily recalling certain RITZ Peanut Butter Cracker Sandwiches sold nationwide.

Some individually wrapped peanut butter sandwich packs were mislabeled as the cheese variety. That means someone with a peanut allergy could eat one thinking it’s cheese, not knowing it contains peanut butter.

So far, no illnesses or reactions have been reported. The recall is precautionary after a supplier packaging error was discovered.
