Ram Trucks – Anti-Lock Braking System Class Action

If you own or lease certain 2017–2018 Ram 2500, 3500, 4500, or 5500 trucks, you may be eligible for reimbursement through a new class action settlement.

The lawsuit claims some trucks were sold with a defective anti-lock braking system (ABS) module and brake hydraulic control unit (Brake HCU) that could lead to braking issues and safety concerns. FCA US LLC denies wrongdoing but agreed to a settlement.

Why is there a lawsuit?

The case alleges that specific Ram truck models came with a faulty ABS and Brake HCU system, creating a risk of reduced braking performance. Owners paid out of pocket for repairs or rentals while their trucks were serviced. This settlement provides reimbursement for those costs.
