Pediatric Home Service Data Breach Class Action Settlement

Why This Lawsuit Exists?

The lawsuit claims a targeted cyberattack on Pediatric Home’s systems in November 2024 exposed sensitive personal and medical information, including:

  • Names, addresses, and Social Security numbers

  • Medical information and health insurance details

 

Plaintiffs argued the company failed to adequately protect this data, while Pediatric Home denies any wrongdoing. Both sides agreed to a settlement to avoid the cost and uncertainty of litigation.

Who Qualifies?

You can file a claim if:

  • You live in the United States

  • You received a written notice from Pediatric Home stating your information was impacted by the November 2024 breach

  • Parents or guardians may file on behalf of minors

How Much Can You Get?

Class members may choose one cash benefit and one credit monitoring benefit:

 

Cash Options:

  • Documented Losses: Up to $1,500 for out-of-pocket expenses like identity theft or fraud, credit report/monitoring fees, ID replacement, or postage. Losses must be incurred Nov. 1, 2024 – April 23, 2026.

  • Alternative Cash Payment: Flat $50 if you do not submit documented losses.

 

Credit Monitoring Options:

  • CyEx Medical Shield Complete: For adults, $1M medical identity theft insurance and monitoring

  • CyEx Identity Defense Total: For adults, $1M identity theft insurance, credit monitoring, dark web and public record monitoring

  • CyEx Minor Defense Pro: For minors, identity monitoring, public records tracing, and dark web monitoring

How to File a Claim?

  1. Online or Mail: Complete the claim form online or print and mail it.

  2. Required Info: Use your unique ID and PIN from the notice.

  3. Documentation: To claim documented losses, include receipts, statements, or other proof of fraud or expenses.
