Lezyne USA is recalling its Pressure Over Drive and Digital Pressure Over Drive bicycle floor pumps.
The issue: the pump’s canister can forcefully eject from the base when pressurized, which can cause serious injury to the user or anyone nearby.

One incident has already been reported, resulting in serious injuries to the face.

Which Products Are Affected

Only two specific Lezyne floor pump models are included:

  • Pressure Over Drive (with analog gauge)
  • Digital Pressure Over Drive (with digital gauge)

Identifying details:

  • Black tubeless floor pumps
  • Made of steel and aluminum
  • Natural wood-colored handle
  • Nylon-reinforced braided hose
  • Lezyne logo printed on the pump’s side
  • Only pumps with a bleed valve on the front of the base are recalled

Units affected:

  • About 7,500 sold in the U.S.
  • About 680 sold in Canada

Sold at bicycle shops nationwide—Art’s Cyclery, Incycle, Bike Bling, Sports Basement, Over the Edge Sports—and online at ride.lezyne.com, Jensonusa.com, Backcountry.com and Velotech.com from May 2016–December 2021, priced between $150–$180.
