If you received a notice saying your personal information may have been affected by the August 2024 LCPtracker data breach, you could qualify for benefits from a class action settlement.
Eligible class members may claim up to $2,500 for documented losses, an estimated $50 cash payment, and two years of free credit monitoring with $1 million in identity theft insurance. To receive benefits, you must submit a valid claim by August 8, 2026.
What happened?
The lawsuit claimed that a targeted cyberattack on LCPtracker Inc.’s computer systems in August 2024 exposed files containing personal information, including names and Social Security numbers.
According to the lawsuit, the data incident affected thousands of individuals whose information may have been accessed.
Who is eligible?
You may be eligible if:
- You reside in the United States, and
- You received an individual notice from LCPtracker stating that your personal information may have been impacted by the August 2024 data breach.
If you received a settlement notice, LCPtracker’s records indicate you are a class member.
How much money can you get?
Eligible class members can choose from the following settlement benefits:
Cash Payment A – Up to $2,500 for Documented Losses
If you experienced unreimbursed out-of-pocket expenses related to the data breach, you may claim up to $2,500.
Eligible losses may include:
- Identity theft or fraud losses
- Credit report, credit monitoring, or credit freeze fees
- Costs to replace identification documents
- Postage for contacting financial institutions
To receive this benefit, you’ll need supporting documentation such as receipts, invoices, bank statements, or other records showing the expenses were related to the data incident.
Losses must have occurred between August 14, 2024, and August 8, 2026.
Cash Payment B – Estimated $50
All eligible class members may also submit a claim for a one-time cash payment estimated at $50.
No documentation is required to request this payment. The final amount may be higher or lower depending on the total number of approved claims.
Two Years of Credit Monitoring
All class members are also eligible to enroll in:
- Two years of single-bureau credit monitoring
- $1 million in identity theft insurance
- Real-time credit monitoring
- Dark web scanning
- Public records monitoring
- Access to fraud resolution specialists

How to file a claim?
You can file your claim online, or download and mail a paper claim form.
To file online, you’ll need the Unique ID and PIN from your settlement notice. If you can’t locate your ID and PIN, you can contact the Settlement Administrator and request them by providing your full name and mailing address.
If you’re claiming documented losses, be sure to include supporting documentation with your claim.
Payment Options
Approved claimants may choose to receive their cash payment by:
- PayPal
- Venmo
- Zelle
- Paper check (Mailed claims are paid by paper check.)
