Automatic Payment – $3 Million Las Vegas Grand Prix Ticket Settlement

If you purchased or received a ticket to the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix and attempted to attend the FP2 Free Practice Session on November 16, 2023, you may be eligible for a cash payment from a $3,047,986 class action settlement.

Some eligible class members do not need to file a claim and will receive payment automatically, while others must submit a claim by August 27, 2026 to receive their share.

Why Did This Lawsuit Happen?

The lawsuit alleges that Liberty Media Corporation and Las Vegas Grand Prix, Inc. improperly revoked ticket holders’ admission to the delayed FP2 Free Practice Session on November 16, 2023, without providing refunds.

According to the lawsuit, an accident delayed the session, and attendees were removed from viewing areas before the session began. Plaintiffs alleged this amounted to a breach of contract because admission was revoked without cause and without a partial refund.
