Evenflo Recall Alert: Over 324,000 Car Seats Recalled

Evenflo has issued a voluntary recall of more than 324,000 car seats after finding that foam inside the headrest can pose a choking hazard. While no injuries have been reported, the company and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) are urging parents to check if their seat is affected.

What’s Being Recalled and Why

The recall covers certain Evenflo Gold Revolve360 Slim and Evenflo Revolve360 Slim car seats.

  • The issue: Foam inside the headrest is not fully secured. Some children could pull it out, which creates a potential choking hazard if the foam is placed in the mouth.

  • Important note: Evenflo says the problem does not affect crash protection or the overall safety of the car seat in an accident.

  • Reported injuries: None at this time.

Only specific models of the Slim version are included.

  • Model number: 3681

  • Manufacturing dates: December 1, 2022 – December 8, 2024

To check your car seat: rotate it to a side-facing position and look for the white label on the back of the seat shell (instruction manual storage area).

  • Revolve360 Slim models starting with 3682 (updated with a protective tape seal)

What You Should Do

  • Continue using the car seat if the foam is intact and your child cannot reach it.

  • If your child has pulled at or removed the foam, stop using it immediately and contact Evenflo.

You do not need to return the car seat to a retailer.
