Clorox is recalling millions of Pine-Sol multi-surface cleaners because some bottles may contain harmful bacteria. If you’ve bought Pine-Sol in the past couple of years, here’s what you need to check.
Product: Certain Pine-Sol multi-surface cleaners
Reason: Possible contamination with Pseudomonas aeruginosa, a bacteria that can cause serious infection.
Health Risk: Especially dangerous for people with weakened immune systems, underlying conditions, or medical devices. The bacteria can enter through the skin, eyes, or airways.
Injuries Reported: None so far, but Clorox is recalling affected products out of caution.
Which Products Are Affected
The recall covers products made between January 2022 and September 2022 in sizes from 28 oz to 175 oz.
