If you purchased a Bestway AirJet Spa Pump or Bestway HydroJet Spa Pump with certain model numbers between May 2021 and May 2024, you may qualify for a cash payment of up to $75 through a class action settlement.

Why this lawsuit exists?
The lawsuit claims that certain Bestway spa pumps were defective and posed a potential fire hazard. According to the lawsuit, these products were later included in a recall conducted with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
The lawsuit also alleged that the recall remedy provided to consumers was insufficient.
Who qualifies?
You may be eligible if all of the following apply:
- You purchased a Bestway AirJet Spa Pump or Bestway HydroJet Spa Pump in the United States.
- Your purchase was made between May 2021 and May 2024.
- Your spa pump has one of these model numbers:
P05332, P05339, P05711, P05807, P07000, P07001, P05511, P07034, or P07572
How much can you receive?
Eligible class members may receive up to $75. The total available for cash payments is $2 million. If valid claims exceed that amount, payments will be reduced on a pro rata basis, meaning each approved claimant could receive less than $75.
In addition:
- Consumers who received a replacement pump through the recall will automatically receive a one-year extension of the Bestway limited warranty for the replacement pump. No claim form is required for this warranty extension.

How to file a claim?
You can submit your claim online or mail a completed claim form to the Settlement Administrator. Before filing, make sure you meet the requirements based on your situation:
- If you already participated in the recall and received a refund, you’ll need your Spa Pump Recall Claim Number when submitting your settlement claim.
- If you have not yet participated in the recall, you must first complete the CPSC recall process before submitting your settlement claim.
- If you no longer have the spa pump, you may still qualify, but you’ll need to provide proof of purchase with your claim. Acceptable documentation may include:
- A purchase confirmation email
- A photograph of the product
- Other proof showing your purchase
Payment Options
