Auto dealership workers may receive a payment automatically. No claim form required.
If you worked for Wise Auto Group or its affiliated dealerships between Jan. 7, 2017 and July 30, 2025, you may be included in a $1,007,367 class action settlement involving alleged wage-and-hour violations.
The case alleges workers were not properly paid under California labor laws. The companies deny wrongdoing but agreed to settle to avoid continued litigation.
What happened?
The class action claims that certain dealerships:
- Failed to properly pay minimum wage and overtime
- Did not provide compliant meal and rest breaks
- Issued inaccurate wage statements
- Failed to reimburse required business expenses
- Engaged in alleged violations of California wage-and-hour laws
Who is eligible?
You may be included if you:
- Worked for Anthony A. Batarse Inc., Lloyd A. Wise Motors Inc., Vallejo Nissan Inc., or Wise Vision Inc.

- Are identified in company records as part of the class

How much money can you get?
There is no flat payout amount.
Your payment depends on:
- The number of workweeks you worked
- The total number of eligible class members
- The net settlement fund available after fees and costs
The settlement administrator will calculate:
- A workweek-based share for wage claims
- A pay-period-based share for PAGA penalties
Each eligible person received an estimated payment in their individual notice
