If you bought tickets through the Gametime website or app in California, you may be getting a settlement benefit automatically.
A proposed class action settlement resolves claims that Gametime did not adequately disclose certain ticket fees during the purchasing process. If approved, eligible users will receive a Gametime credit voucher worth 15% of the fees they paid, with a minimum value of $5.
No claim form is required.
What happened?
The lawsuit alleges that Gametime failed to adequately disclose fees associated with ticket purchases, causing consumers to see a lower ticket price upfront than the total amount charged at checkout.
The claims were brought under several California consumer protection laws, including:
- California Unfair Competition Law
- California False Advertising Law
- California Consumers Legal Remedies Act
Who is eligible?
You may be included in the settlement if:
- You purchased tickets through the Gametime website or mobile app
- The purchase was made in California
- The purchase occurred between April 18, 2018 and May 12, 2025
Certain users are excluded from the settlement, including some users who agreed to newer Gametime Terms of Service, received full refunds or credits, intentionally enabled all-in pricing before their first covered purchase, or are affiliated with Gametime.
How much money can you get?
Eligible class members will automatically receive a Gametime Credit Voucher equal to 15% of the Initial Fees Paid with a guaranteed minimum of $5.00 per eligible class member.
Voucher Details
- Valid for purchases on Gametime’s website or mobile apps
- Expires 60 months (5 years) after issuance
- Non-transferable
- Delivered by email or first-class mail
Because the benefit is tied to the fees you paid, some users may receive vouchers worth more than the $5 minimum.
