American National Bank & Trust Data Incident Settlement – Up to $4,500 + Credit Monitoring

If you received a notice from American National Bank & Trust (ANB&T) about a data incident on January 21, 2025, you may be eligible to claim up to $4,500 in out-of-pocket losses, a $50 alternative cash payment, or one year of credit monitoring from a class action settlement.

Why This Lawsuit Exists?

The lawsuit claims that unauthorized access to ANB&T’s network exposed sensitive personal information, including:

  • Names, addresses, and dates of birth

  • Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, and government-issued IDs

  • Financial account numbers and/or credit or debit card info

  • Medical and health insurance information

Plaintiffs argued ANB&T failed to adequately protect this data, while the bank denies any wrongdoing. Both sides agreed to a settlement to avoid the costs and risks of continued litigation.

Who Qualifies?

You’re included in the settlement if:

  • You reside in the United States

  • You received a written notification from ANB&T stating your personal information was potentially accessed due to the January 21, 2025 data incident

How Much Can You Get?

You may be eligible for:

  1. Documented Out-of-Pocket Loss Reimbursement: Up to $4,500 for expenses caused by the data incident, such as:

    • Unreimbursed bank fees

    • Phone or internet charges

    • Postage or local travel costs

    • Credit report or monitoring expenses

  2. Alternative Cash Payment: $50 (no documentation needed)

  3. Credit Monitoring: One year of three-bureau credit monitoring with $1,000,000 identity theft insurance
