Town Food Service Equipment Co., Inc. has recalled certain aluminum saucepans because they may be contaminated with lead (Pb) that can leach into food.
Lead exposure is unsafe at any level, and consuming food contaminated with lead can pose serious health risks—especially for children and unborn babies. At this time, no illnesses have been reported, but the potential risk prompted the recall after FDA testing found leachable lead in the finished products.
