Why the Lawsuit Exists?
The class action alleges that Veradigm Inc., a health care technology company, failed to adequately protect sensitive patient data.
In December 2024, a data breach exposed personal and health information—including names, dates of birth, insurance claims, payment info, Social Security numbers, and driver’s license numbers—of more than 2 million individuals.
Veradigm denies wrongdoing but agreed to settle for $10.5 million to resolve the claims and compensate affected individuals.

How Much You Can Get?
Eligible class members can claim:
Cash Payment A – Documented Losses: Up to $5,000 for documented losses related to the data breach (receipts, bills, or third-party records required)
Cash Payment B – Alternate Cash: Estimated $50 with no documentation required
Medical Data Monitoring: Two years of CyEx monitoring, including credit monitoring, dark web scanning, victim support, $1,000,000 identity theft insurance, and fraud resolution agents
All cash payments are subject to pro rata adjustment depending on the total number of valid claims.
