No injuries have been reported, but riders are urged to take action promptly to avoid potential harm.

Domane+ ALR 6 AXS
Checkpoint+ SL 6
Checkpoint+ SL 7

The word “TREK” appears on the downtube
The model name is printed on the top tube
Sold in various colors and sizes
Sold between July 2025 and September 2025
Price range: $5,000 to $8,000
About 700 units are affected.
What You Should Do
Consumers should stop using the recalled electric bicycles immediately.
Trek is offering a free repair through authorized Trek dealers:
Contact a Trek-authorized dealer to schedule the repair
The dealer will tighten the chainring bolts to the correct specification
Riders who complete the recall repair will receive a $20 in-store credit toward Trek, Electra, or Bontrager merchandise
Credit is valid through December 31, 2026
