If you recently purchased a StopBox AR-15 Chamber Lock Pro, you’ll want to check this recall. The company has announced that some units may not securely lock the firearm’s chamber, creating a serious safety risk. Even though no injuries have been reported, it’s important to stop using the product right away.
What’s Being Recalled and Why
StopBox USA is recalling its AR-15 Chamber Lock Pro firearm locks because of a serious safety issue.
A manufacturing defect could allow the lock to be forcibly removed — meaning the firearm could be accessed or fired unintentionally. This poses a risk of serious injury or death, especially if the firearm is stored around others.
No injuries or incidents have been reported so far.
