If you have a SereneLife above-ground pool in your backyard, this is important. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is warning that certain pools could pose a serious risk to children. We’ve broken down everything you need to know—quickly and clearly—so you can keep your family safe and get a refund if your pool is affected.
What’s Being Recalled and Why?
SereneLife is recalling all above-ground pools 48 inches and taller because a compression strap (or reinforcing belt) on the outside of the pool can create a foothold. This foothold may allow a child to climb into the pool and risk drowning, even if the ladder is removed.
No injuries have been reported so far.
CPSC notes that children can still access the pool even with these straps in place.
