Security Engineers Inc. $1.6M Sex Discrimination Settlement

If you applied for a security officer job in Alabama and were not hired, this settlement could mean cash compensation for you.

Security Engineers Inc. has agreed to pay $1.6 million to resolve a class action lawsuit brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) alleging sex discrimination against female job applicants.

If you qualify, you must submit a questionnaire by February 27, 2026 to be eligible for payment.

Why This Lawsuit Exists?

The EEOC alleged that Security Engineers Inc. discriminated against female applicants by failing to hire qualified women for security officer positions across Alabama.

According to the lawsuit, this alleged discrimination occurred between March 1, 2017, and March 10, 2025.

Security Engineers Inc. denies wrongdoing but agreed to this settlement to resolve the claims and avoid further litigation. The settlement also requires changes to the company’s hiring practices going forward.
