Blue Bell Creameries is voluntarily recalling certain half gallons of Moo-llennium Crunch Ice Cream because the cartons were mislabeled. The product was accidentally packaged in Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough cartons with a Moo-llennium Crunch lid.
What’s Being Recalled and Why
The issue is that the ice cream contains almonds, walnuts, and pecans that were not declared on the packaging. For people with nut allergies, eating this product could cause a serious or life-threatening reaction.
No illnesses or reactions have been reported so far. The mix-up was discovered by a Blue Bell employee while restocking a store.
