What’s Being Recalled and Why

Peloton is recalling its Original Series Bike+ exercise bikes (model PL02) because the seat post assembly can break during use, posing a fall and injury risk to riders.
So far, Peloton has received three reports of the seat post breaking and detaching, including two injuries from falls.

  • Serial numbers: Begin with the letter “T”
  • Size: About 4 ft. long x 2 ft. wide
  • Features: Adjustable seat and handlebar

What You Should Do

If you own one of these bikes:

  1. Stop using it immediately until repaired.
  2. Contact Peloton to receive a free replacement seat post that you can install yourself.

Peloton will provide instructions and support for the self-installation repair.
