If you gave your fingerprint at Scarlett’s Cabaret (Washington Park, IL) or Rick’s Cabaret (Chicago, IL) anytime between September 17, 2017 and June 18, 2025, you may be eligible for benefits from a $1.18 million class action settlement.
Why is there a lawsuit?
The lawsuit alleges that the clubs collected customer fingerprints without proper notice or written consent, violating the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA). This law requires businesses to handle biometric data—like fingerprints—safely and transparently.
The defendants deny wrongdoing, but agreed to settle.
Who qualifies?
You’re part of the settlement class if:
You gave your fingerprint at Scarlett’s Cabaret or Rick’s Cabaret
Between September 17, 2017 – June 18, 2025
Even if it was just once
No proof is required when filing your claim.
How much can people get?
Instead of cash, approved claimants will get a VIP Membership Card (valued at $1,000) for one of the clubs.
Your VIP membership includes:

VIP seating anytime you visit

Discounts on bottle purchases

You’ll receive one VIP card only, even if you gave your fingerprint at both clubs.
