Gerber Products Company Announces Voluntary Recall of Arrowroot Biscuits

If you recently purchased Gerber® Arrowroot Biscuits (5.5 oz), take a moment to check the batch code. A limited number of batches have been voluntarily recalled due to the potential presence of soft plastic and/or paper pieces.

According to the company, the material originated from an arrowroot flour supplier that initiated its own recall. Gerber states it is no longer working with that supplier.

Important:

  • No illnesses or injuries have been reported
  • The recall is being conducted out of an abundance of caution
  • No other Gerber® products are affected

 

The recall is nationwide in the United States.

Which Products Are Affected

Only the following product is included:

  • Gerber® Arrowroot Biscuits

  • 5.5 oz package

  • Produced between July 2025 and September 2025

 

Batch codes are printed on the back of the package, before the “Best Before” date. Look for a 10-digit batch code.

If your package does not match these batch codes, it is not included in the recall.

What You Should Do

If you have one of the affected batches:

  • Do not feed the product to your child

  • Return the product to the retailer where it was purchased

  • Request a refund

 

Gerber is advising consumers not to use the product, even though no injuries have been reported.
