Up to $5,000 Payout – Dowl LLC $1.2M Washington Pay Transparency Settlement

If you applied for a job with DOWL LLC in Washington and the job posting didn’t include the required pay range or benefits information, you could be eligible for a cash payment from a class action settlement worth up to $1.205 million.

Eligible class members who submit a valid claim may receive up to $5,000, with an estimated payment of $1,658.76 based on current projections. To receive a payment, you’ll need to file a claim by Aug. 3, 2026.

What happened?

The lawsuit alleged that DOWL LLC violated Washington’s Equal Pay and Opportunities Act by posting jobs that did not disclose the wage scale, salary range and/or a general description of benefits as required by state law.

Who is eligible?

You may be eligible if all of the following apply:

  • You applied for a job with DOWL LLC in Washington.
  • You submitted your application between Jan. 1, 2023, and May 13, 2026.
  • The job posting did not include the wage scale or salary range and/or a general description of benefits.

 

The settlement administrator identified eligible class members using DOWL’s employment records. If you received a settlement notice, you’re likely included.

How much money can you get?

Eligible class members who submit a valid claim will receive an equal share of the net settlement fund, up to $5,000 per person.

 

Estimated payment: $1,658.76

 

Your final payment depends on:

  • The number of valid claims submitted.
  • Court-approved attorneys’ fees, expenses, service awards, and settlement administration costs.

 

Here’s how the settlement is structured:

  • The minimum settlement fund is $805,236.16, covering up to 241 claimants (50% of the estimated class).
  • For each valid claimant above 241, DOWL will increase the settlement fund by $1,658.76 per person, up to a maximum settlement fund of $1,205,000.
  • If fewer than 241 people file valid claims, the remaining funds will be distributed to the Legal Foundation of Washington.
  • Individual payments are capped at $5,000.

How to file a claim?

To receive a payment, you must submit a valid claim by Aug. 3, 2026.

 

You can:

  • File your claim online using the Notice ID and PIN from your settlement notice.
  • Download, complete, and mail or email the PDF claim form.

 

If you’ve misplaced your Notice ID or PIN, contact the Settlement Administrator with your full name and mailing address to request your information.

If your mailing address or contact details change after filing your claim, be sure to update the Settlement Administrator so you can receive your payment if the settlement receives final approval.
