If you purchased a YouTube TV or DirecTV Stream subscription between April 1, 2019, and March 31, 2026, you may be eligible to receive a cash payment from a $50 million class action settlement.
To receive a payment, you must submit a valid claim by September 8, 2026.
Why Was This Lawsuit Filed?
The lawsuit alleged that The Walt Disney Co. violated federal and state antitrust and consumer protection laws by engaging in conduct that increased the prices of streaming live pay television (SLPTV) services.
According to the plaintiffs, these practices caused YouTube TV and DirecTV Stream subscribers to pay higher prices.
Disney denies any wrongdoing, and the Court has not decided who is right or wrong. The company agreed to settle to avoid the costs, risk, and uncertainty of continued litigation.
Who Qualifies?
You may be eligible if you meet one or both of the following:
You purchased a YouTube TV subscription between April 1, 2019, and March 31, 2026.
You purchased a DirecTV streaming live pay TV subscription (including DirecTV Stream, DirecTV Now, or AT&T TV Now) during the same period.
You may submit a claim for both subscriptions if you paid for both during the class period.
The settlement also distinguishes class members based on where they lived during the class period:
Repealer jurisdictions: Eligible class members who lived in certain listed states or U.S. territories may share in 90% of the net settlement fund.
Non-repealer jurisdictions: Eligible class members who lived in any other U.S. state or territory may share in 10% of the net settlement fund.
How Much Could You Receive?
There is no fixed payment amount.
Instead, eligible class members who submit valid claims will receive a pro rata cash payment.
Your payment will depend on:
The number of valid claims submitted
The length of your YouTube TV and/or DirecTV Stream subscription
Whether you lived in a repealer or non-repealer jurisdiction during the class period
The settlement administrator will calculate each eligible payment after all valid claims have been reviewed.

How to File a Claim?
To receive a payment, you must submit a valid claim by September 8, 2026.
You can:
Submit your claim online using the Unique ID and PIN provided in your official settlement notice.
Print and mail a completed claim form to the settlement administrator.
