Why This Lawsuit Exists?
The lawsuit alleged that Payscale Inc.:
Failed to properly pay overtime wages
Did not accurately record and compensate all hours worked by SDRs
Payscale denies wrongdoing but agreed to pay $675,000 to resolve the claims and avoid further litigation.
The settlement covers approximately:
7,971 workweeks
135 current and former SDRs
Who Qualifies?
You may be eligible if:
You were employed by Payscale Inc.
Your job title was Sales Development Representative (SDR)
You worked at any time between June 1, 2022, and November 21, 2025
How Much You Could Get?
Eligible class members can receive a pro rata cash payment from the net settlement fund.
Your payment will depend on:
The number of weeks you worked during the settlement period
The total number of valid claims submitted
Important:
Half of each payment will be subject to payroll deductions
Payments will be issued by paper check
Checks are expected to be mailed approximately seven weeks after the claim deadline
Settlement Fund Breakdown
From the $675,000 fund, the following may be deducted (if approved):
Attorneys’ fees: Up to $225,000
Attorneys’ expenses: Up to $7,500
Service awards: $10,000 each to two lead plaintiffs ($20,000 total)
PAGA fund: $5,000 (65% to California, 35% to affected SDRs)
Administration costs: To be determined
Remaining funds will be distributed to approved claimants.
