Why This Lawsuit Exists?

The case, In Re: ALN Medical Management LLC Data Incident Litigation, alleges that between March 18 and March 24, 2024, an unauthorized party accessed systems in ALN’s third-party hosted environment.

According to the lawsuit, this exposed sensitive private information, including:

  • Names
  • Social Security numbers
  • Government-issued ID numbers
  • Financial information
  • Medical and health insurance information

ALN Medical Management denies wrongdoing but agreed to pay $4 million to settle the claims and avoid further litigation.

Who Qualifies?

You are a Settlement Class Member if:

  • You are a living individual residing in the United States, AND
  • You were sent a notice from ALN Medical Management LLC stating your private information may have been impacted in the March 2024 data incident.

Certain individuals are excluded, including ALN’s officers and directors, governmental entities, the presiding judge and staff, those who opt out, and anyone convicted of causing the incident.

How Much You Can Get?

Eligible class members can choose one of the following:

Option A – Documented Losses
  • Claim up to $5,000 for actual, documented, unreimbursed losses
  • Must provide reasonable third-party documentation
  • Losses must be fairly traceable to the data incident

Option B – Alternate Cash Payment
  • Estimated payment of $50
  • No documentation of losses required

+ Medical Data Monitoring (Optional Add-On)

In addition to either cash option, you may claim:

  • One year of CyEx’s Medical Shield Complete
  • One-bureau credit monitoring
  • Medical identity monitoring
  • Dark web monitoring
  • Real-time alerts
  • Up to $1,000,000 in identity theft insurance

How to File a Claim?

To receive payment or medical data monitoring, you must submit a claim.

You can:

  • File a claim online through the official settlement website
  • Or print and mail a claim form

Deadline: April 3, 2026 (11:59 p.m. CT)
Mailed claims must be postmarked by April 3, 2026.
