Varsity Brands Data Breach Settlement – Claim Up to $6,500

If Varsity Brands notified you that your personal information may have been exposed in a cybersecurity incident on or around May 22, 2024, you could be eligible for cash payments, credit monitoring, and reimbursement of out-of-pocket losses. Here’s what you need to know—and how to claim before the deadline.

Why This Settlement Exists?

The lawsuit alleges Varsity Brands failed to adequately protect personal information during a network breach. The exposed data could include:

  • Bank or financial account info
  • Credit report or identity theft protection purchases
  • Cell phone, data, or long-distance charges
  • Postage, gas, or other reasonable expenses
  • Losses from fraud, identity theft, or similar victimization

Varsity Brands denies any wrongdoing but agreed to settle to avoid lengthy litigation.

Who Qualifies?

You may be eligible if you:

  • Reside in the United States
  • Had personal or private information potentially compromised in the May 2024 breach
  • Were notified about the incident (even if you didn’t receive a notice, you may still qualify if your information was affected)

How Much You Could Get?

  • Out-of-pocket losses: Up to $6,500 per person for documented, unreimbursed losses related to the breach
  • Cash payment: Estimated $100 per person, pro rata depending on total claims
  • Credit monitoring: Two years of credit monitoring and identity theft protection at no cost for all valid claimants

Payout amounts may adjust based on the total number of approved claims.
