Tax Relief Helpers TCPA Settlement: Get an Estimated $120 for Illegal Robocalls

If you got prerecorded or repeated calls from Tax Relief Helpers any time since June 21, 2021, you may qualify for an estimated $120 cash payment from a new $2.95 million TCPA settlement. Use this quick guide to see if you’re eligible and file before the Dec. 29, 2025 deadline.

Why This Lawsuit Exists?

A class action lawsuit alleges that Tax Relief Helpers Inc. violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) by:

  • Making prerecorded/artificial-voice calls to cell phones without proper consent
  • Making repeated calls to numbers listed on the National Do Not Call Registry or the company’s internal do-not-call list

Tax Relief Helpers denies all wrongdoing but agreed to a settlement to avoid the cost and uncertainty of continued litigation.

Who Qualifies?

You may be included if:

  • You received a call from Tax Relief Helpers (or its agents) between June 21, 2021, and the present, and
    • The call used an artificial or prerecorded voice without prior express written consent, OR
    • You received more than one call within 12 months to a number on the National Do Not Call Registry or the company’s internal do-not-call list

Additional details:

  • If you received a postcard notice, your number appeared in the calling records.
  • If you didn’t receive a postcard, you may still be eligible if your number appears in those records.
  • To verify eligibility, you can contact the settlement administrator at 888-250-6810.

How Much Can People Get?

  • The estimated payout is $120 per approved claimant.
  • The final amount may decrease depending on:
    • Total number of valid claims
    • Administrative costs
    • Attorneys’ fees (up to $600,000)

Total cash for class members cannot exceed the $2,950,000 settlement fund.
