If you received a data breach notice from Montlick & Associates, P.C., you may be eligible for cash compensation and free credit monitoring from a proposed $1.3 million class action settlement.
This settlement is tied to a January 2024 cyberattack that allegedly exposed sensitive personal information. Claims are now open—but you must file to get paid.
Why This Lawsuit Exists?
The lawsuit, Martin, et al. v. Montlick & Associates, P.C. (Case No. 24CV10274), alleges that a targeted cyberattack on Montlick’s computer systems allowed unauthorized access to files containing private and sensitive information, including:
Names
Social Security numbers
Driver’s license numbers
Medical treatment and diagnosis information
Montlick denies wrongdoing. The court has not ruled on the claims. The parties agreed to settle to avoid the cost and risk of continued litigation.
