On February 20, 2026, Made Fresh Salads, Inc. announced a recall of several cream cheese flavors due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.

Made Fresh Salads, Inc. is recalling assorted flavors of its cream cheese products because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

Listeria can cause:

  • Serious infections in young children, elderly individuals, and people with weakened immune systems
  • Symptoms like high fever, headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea
  • Miscarriages and stillbirths in pregnant women

The issue was discovered during a routine company sampling program, which found Listeria contamination on part of a mixer used in production.

No illnesses have been reported to date.
