Why is there a lawsuit?
A lawsuit alleged that Mesk Investments (IHOP franchise owner) violated Washington’s Equal Pay and Opportunities Act by posting jobs without listing:
Wage scales or salary ranges
Descriptions of benefits or compensation
Mesk Investments denies wrongdoing but agreed to settle the case to avoid further litigation.

You may be part of the settlement if you:
Applied for a job with Mesk Investments (IHOP)
In Washington State
Between January 1, 2023 – November 30, 2023
And the job posting did not disclose pay ranges or benefits
How much can people get?
Eligible class members who submit a valid claim will receive an equal share of the fund, estimated around $1,414.37 each.
Maximum possible payout: up to $5,000 per person
