FuboTV $3.4M Data Privacy Class Action No Proof Payout

If you or someone in your household used FuboTV on or before May 29, 2025, you may be eligible for a cash payout from a $3.4 million class action settlement.

This settlement resolves claims that FuboTV improperly shared personal viewing data with third parties without consent, violating privacy laws. FuboTV denies wrongdoing but agreed to settle to avoid the costs and uncertainty of trial.

Why is there a lawsuit?

The lawsuit alleged that FuboTV broke the Video Privacy Protection Act (VPPA) by sharing details like what shows subscribers watched and user IDs with companies such as Facebook. It also included claims under California privacy laws.

While FuboTV denies these allegations, they agreed to create a $3.4M cash fund for impacted subscribers.

Who qualifies?

You may be part of the settlement if:

  • You had a FuboTV account in the U.S. or its territories on or before May 29, 2025

  • OR you used someone else’s Fubo account while living in the U.S. during that period

Household members may also qualify if they used Fubo under the same conditions.

How much can people get?

  • Payments will come from the $3.4 million fund after legal and admin fees.

  • Everyone who files a valid claim will receive an equal share.

  • California claimants who certify eligibility will get 1.1x the payout of other claimants.

  • Final payout per person depends on how many people submit claims.

No proof of purchase is required. Just confirm your account usage.
