If your vehicle was repossessed by Five Star Bank between May 16, 2011 and September 30, 2021, you may be eligible for money, debt relief, and credit reporting fixes from a $29.5 million class action settlement.
Why is there a lawsuit?
A lawsuit claimed Five Star Bank and Financial Institutions, Inc. failed to send proper notices to borrowers after repossessing and selling vehicles.
Plaintiffs said this violated Pennsylvania and New York law, leaving borrowers without fair warning or rights.
The bank denies wrongdoing but agreed to settle.
