  • Credit/debit card and financial account numbers
  • Health information

The lawsuit claims First Choice Dental failed to protect this data. The company denies wrongdoing but agreed to a settlement to resolve the case.

Who Qualifies?

You’re included in the Settlement Class if:

  • Your private information was implicated in the October 2023 First Choice Dental data breach, and
  • You reside in the United States

Excluded individuals include the defendant, related entities, judges involved in the case, and anyone found responsible for the breach.

How Much Can You Get?

1. Documented Economic Losses — Up to $6,000

For out-of-pocket losses directly related to the breach, such as:

  • Fraud or identity theft losses
  • Attorney or accountant fees
  • Credit repair or credit freeze/unfreeze fees
  • Credit monitoring expenses (after breach notice)
