Who is eligible?
You may be included in the settlement if you:
- Made an appointment on www.derickdermatology.com or one of its subdomains
- Between Nov. 21, 2023, and Nov. 27, 2025
If you received a settlement notice with a Login ID and PIN, you may already have been identified as a potential class member.
How much money can you get?
Eligible class members may receive:
- Up to $12.50 cash
- One-year Privacy Shield Pro subscription at no cost
The cash payment may be reduced on a pro rata basis depending on the number of valid claims submitted.
The Privacy Shield Pro benefit is available to all settlement class members and does not require a claim form to receive the enrollment code.

How to file a claim?
To receive a cash payment, you must submit a valid claim by July 21, 2026.
You can complete the online claim form using the Login ID and PIN from your settlement notice. Download and mail a paper claim form. Claimants submitting online claims will need their Login ID and PIN from the settlement notice.

Additional Benefit: Free Privacy Shield Pro
All settlement class members will automatically receive a code for a one-year Privacy Shield Pro subscription.
You do not need to file a claim to receive the enrollment code. However, you must enroll in the service after the settlement receives final approval and becomes effective.
When Will Payments Be Sent?
According to the settlement, approved cash payments are expected to be distributed approximately 90 days after final approval of the settlement.
Privacy Shield Pro enrollment codes are expected to be activated approximately 35 days after final approval, and class members must enroll within the required enrollment window.
