CreateOn Recalls Crayola-Branded pip-Cubes Over Serious Injury Risk

If you bought magnetic building cubes for a child or clicked here from a recall alert, take a moment to check your set. Certain magnetic cubes are being recalled due to a serious safety risk. Here’s a clear, step-by-step guide to what’s affected and how to get a replacement.

CreateOn Crayola-branded pip-Cubes are being recalled because the magnets inside the cubes can come loose if the seams separate.

This creates an ingestion hazard for children. If high-powered magnets are swallowed, they can attract each other or other metal objects inside the body, which can lead to serious internal injuries.

According to the recall notice:

  • No injuries have been reported
  • The risk is considered serious if magnets are ingested
